It looks like Thursday was the day!
Yes, it was glorious, mostly good travel with a few cm of fresh powder-turning-to-slush-in-the-hot-sun. Photos taken last year are still valid ;-)
On my return, for the first time ever I went off route and explored the Burstall Lakes, which was fun.

Roads: Sorry to be late with this report, but the Smith-Dorrien is full of potholes, fair going up from Kan. Lakes in the early morning, but lousy on the return.
The worst part of the trip was getting in and out of the Burstall parking lot. Where did all that snow come from??!!

Looking back at my tracks from the end of the trees

Same spot, selfie with Robertson

The Lower Burstall Lake is big!
