We skied up to Burstall Pass on Sunday (Nov. 20). The trail was well established by both skiers and snowshoers (and one hiker who postholed all the way up, placing divots in many sections of the uptrack). The trail is entirely passable, but only just. The upper slopes are rather windblown (photo #2) and are not holding a lot of snow. It is a nice day out for a tour, but do not expect good turns.
The creek bed flats just before the headwall have just enough snow to ski, but lots of branches sticking through and you need to find the snow bridges for the creek crossings (photo #3)
