Elbow Springs golf course

Discussion:

This is third season the golf course has been groomed for skiing, but our first visit. We found surprisingly good conditions Monday morning. We didn't see the only two skiers who had gone before us, so had the whole course to ourselves. It's $5 for a day pass, or $50 season pass. The club house serves coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We were the only customers at noon. Try this area now, because sun and wind will quickly reduce the snow pack. Please note NO SKATING, as groomed trail not wide enough.

I've used parking lot as starting point to roller ski for years. Beyond the Lott Creek Blvd/Drive junction, smooth pathway pavement is ideal for safe roller skiing. Just watch out for walkers with dogs.
