Figure of Eight circuit at Lk Louise

Discussion:

Parked at Great Divide (-6) all using waxable skis (very unusual these days) and hiked up the hill to Tramline. Down Tramline (in pretty good shape considering all the Loppeteers who used it Saturday). MLR had 1/2 cm new and in terrific shape. Up Fairview then shortcut to #4. Decided to hold off on skiing onto the lake and seeing Ice Castle, until later when more snow and sculptures. Peyto was a disappointment as it had quite a lot of tree debris on it, but Great Divide and Lower Telemark were a great way to finish off our circuit. Met a huge busload of students on our return who were looking somewhat bushed. Our hats off to the outdoor ed teachers and chaperones who offer such great opportunities.
