Discussion:

Skied West Crystal, then Moose Loop clockwise. We started at 10:30, (-10º) and found West Crystal pretty beat up and crunchy from Tuesday's sun. Once we started on Moose Loop however, things improved a lot. The only problem was a short section on the north side near the east end that was a bit icy for 100 metres or so. I noted that Moose Loop got groomed late in the day Tuesday while Crystal was groomed in the morning. Near the end of the loop we had a nice chat with SteveR and his crew, then shortly after we saw a super cute moose chewing on some very unappetizing looking bushes. Probably the same female moose that Deb and Rory reported seeing last Sunday. Returning on West Crystal was much better as temperatures had risen to -2º or so.
