Shadow Lake and an evening loop at CNC

Discussion:

I headed up to Shadow Lake hoping that the grooming might be in progress. It was. Track setting will occur this evening to people heading in tomorrow should have really good conditions. It was quite good today with the grooming passes (4 by the time I was descending). There was about 10 cm of snow in the track to the Lake which I refreshed. The sun is getting high enough in the sky now that even on cool-ish days such as today there may be a few sticky areas in the afternoon.

On the way back I took a spin on some blue trails at CNC skiing out as far as Grey Wolf. Conditions there, as is usually the case, were excellent.
