Discussion:

Was hoping some of the snow that fell at Lk Louise might spill over the Great Divide but it did not. Nonetheless, first time this season to ski one of my all time favourite circuits. Started fairly early on skier tracks across the lake. Nice to see the grooming still holding up on Horse Trail, albeit a bit crusty. The signage at the beginning of Horse Trail has a Woodie Ski standing vertically with big letters stating: S K I E R S O N L Y and it was really nice to see it was followed. Alluvial Fan CCW in good shape, but my wider skis needed to slightly widen the tracks. Enjoyed the halfway mark bench stop and started meeting half a dozen people as we skied the modest downhill towards the lake. We chose the Tree Hugger route on our way back. Temps around -1 to + 1. Parking lot had alot of mushy snow.
