Fairview & Moraine Lake Road - snowy but great

Discussion:

Skied Fairview and the lower part of MLR late this afternoon. Saw only 2 people on Fairview, and 2 more on MLR. It was like having your own private trails.

Both trails are skier trackset in deep, solid machine tracks. There's 2-7 cm of fresh snow on the grooming, depending on where you are in the trail system. Skin and waxless skis had no problems - lots of grip and enough glide. Bits of crusty snow here and there, but nothing to worry about. Lots of control on the hills. Temperatures were around +2 deg. Beautiful scenery, no wind, broken clouds - yup, a nice day to be out there.
