Discussion:

Arrived around 12:30 to "big fat zero" temp and a half full parking lot. Fishscales and skins were the right choice. Conditions heading up #20 Blue had far less tree debris than anticipated and fairly decent snow (2-3 cms overnight). Enjoyed a short visit up the backcountry trail before heading down #20. Return was on more semi-icy trails below the Pond. Walked the very last hill. No collembola noted but am sure they were under the icy bits, waiting to spring on this first day of Spring!!!! +1 while driving home.
