Discussion:

Many thanks to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Winter Trail Team for their hard work and dedication this year . This will be their last update of the season:
——————————

Fairview Loop (#2): Double trackset, March. 29. Spring conditions, ICY in the mornings and soft and sticky in the afternoons.

Shoreline (#4): The ongoing drainage issue is no longer able to be fixed enough for the equipment to pass over it. We will not be able to maintain this trail again this winter. Skier set, Poor condition.

Lake Trail (#4):. Slush is starting to form from the warm weather melting snow and it pooling in patches on the lake, there is also a HUGE snowmobile sized hole, all the way through the lake ice into open water 300 meters from the south end (glacier side) of the lake. Unusual for this early and it's only going to get worse, keep your eyes up! Perhaps the walking/horse path on the side of the lake is the safer choice!

Upper Telemark and Peyto Trails (#5&#7): Double trackset, March. 29. Spring conditions, ICY in the mornings and soft and sticky in the afternoons..
