All by myself at Mt Shark -3 at 9:45 and 9 cms light cold snow to play with

I like MUD Lk weather because you can see what snow has fallen. I needed a calculator to add it up yesterday so despite pot holed, muddy Smith Dorrien, I headed up to Shark. Alot of snow on the Mt Shark road bed thankfully winter tires still on. Decided to take a peek up Palliser Pass Trail (a regular route for many of you epic skiers) but it was Chuck who first made me want to explore it, viewing his photos of season past. My tracks show sidestepping up the littlest of hills and I only got about 2.5 kms up into the Meadows, but what a beautiful spot. Snow started to get sticky although snow temp was still -1 back at the Spray bridge. It was a bit of a slog out, and only one other car in parking lot.
