This report a bit moot as conditions were changing rapidly, but anyway...
A great spring day to be in the mountains, with immaculate new grooming, fine views and lots of picnic table dawdling. Swix VR 50 wax worked decently, until it didn't- making us resort to our Asnes skin-lock kicker skins for the climb up the very sun exposed s-bends and beyond at Blueberry. So maybe a little too much picnicking, as that combined with a later in the morning start also led to some iced up refrozen snow and a minor bit of spring grabbiness here and there on the descents lower down, which were nonetheless still very enjoyable. My two companions opted to walk up the Elk Pass hump on the return, and reported the descent of the Big Hill as FAST!!! Meanwhile I took Fox etc. back which although groomed only, not trackset, was nicely quick and fun on a smooth glazed surface.
With things trending to full on spring conditions today, especially lower down, I would recommend to "follow the overnight grooming" in the next few days.

Immaculate new grooming.

Kicker skins on for the very sun exposed upper Blueberry.

Breezy as always at the top.

Worth it for the view, and the great descent which was already icing up a bit here and there in the shade.

Back at the junction for afternoon tea. It was that kind of day!
