Maybe all the Calgarians are gardening, but the ski conditions are great up in the mountains... and more snow is in the forecast.
Only a skiff of fresh snow lower down, but a good 2 cms of cold fresh snow on a solid rain crust higher up.
VR40 wax was perfect... don't let anyone tell you different!
Actually, a great social occasion, and we'll be back for more.
Not much of a view from the Rockpile today!
The tracksetting on the Moraine Lake Road is in good condition
While skate skiers passed us easily, we did manage to pass those on back country skis.
On the return, the wind came up...
... and cleared the skies.
Nature's sculpture looks like a dinosaur emerging from hibernation to us!
