With all that snow right outside my door, and a brilliant afternoon sun- an urban ski satisfied the urge today. Stepping into the boards at the back gate, I skittered down the alleyway on hardpack to a nearby park, where I broke my own trail in places, and followed a nicely set track courtesy of an earlier skier. With a light xc backcountry touring setup underfoot- I even got in the first telemark turns of the season. Skiing is where you find it!

Another fine entry in your age-old tradition of neighbourhood ski reports!

But why no pictures of the alley? We love the pictures of the alley. With all the colourful bins and whatnot.
