Elk Pass and Blueberry Hill

We were excited to be able to ski Elk Pass and Blueberry Hill again. Be aware, you are on your own in PLPP. It was a surprise to find Pocaterra Hut locked today, with a sign saying 'see you in ski season'. The Visitor Information Centre was also closed.
There were fewer than 10 vehicles in the Elk Pass parking lot, and the wind was VICIOUS. I didn't know that minus 10 degrees could feel so cold! Elk Pass trail was groomed only, no tracks, until Hydroline junction. Track setting up to Blueberry and Elk Pass was superb. The vicious wind deposited some debris, especially lower down.
