The cloud was thick and persistent throughout the tour from east elk to west elk pass today. No sign of sun or views until back at the top of the big hill on return. The bonus is the track to east elk now probably travels ok on LT gear after two of us went though on AT skis. Still a couple tricky spots but not so bad. No snowfa work at east elk, but the prior packing is now good for making blocks. Still can’t recommend the ridge ascent and descent through the cut block on LT gear given the punchy crust, but an out and back to east elk should be fine. The windwall at snowfa headquarters in west elk needed some straightening. Some body also made a small children’s snowfa, so a nice addition thanks to whoever that was.
Passing through the rhime encrusted meadows on top of the ridge.

MaSid, I suspect that "Finding SnowfaLand" will be a hit movie one day.

Sorry, “Snowfa”Land methodology dictates no deliveries, at least not by truck anyway.
