You've inspired me to ski the full length of MLR, which isn't far for most of you skiers, but is a good challenge for me...might set a record for the slowest!

Discussion:

Skied to top of MLR in record breaking time (did I tell you I was skiing with Birkie in Training, Lee?) While we contemplated skiing to the Lake, some snowshoers had packed a trail to the Lake which did not look very friendly for skinny skis and poles with no baskets. So we returned to ski up Fairview and down Tramline back to parking lot. First cars in lot at 9am. -11 and maybe -5 on our return with a somewhat chilly westerly wind. Couch provided a lovely place to sit for 5 minutes and devour lunch, but no escape from the wind. A whole group of school students were heading up FV as we we coming down.
