Discussion:

The air temperature at 10:30 was zero, and it rose to plus 2 mid afternoon. Snow temperature was minus 5. The speed around Shark's hairpin turns was exhilarating whether on waxable skis or skate skiing. A small amount of needles had already been blown on to the grooming, but not enough to cause problems.The few skiers out appeared very happy.
Bonus: The highway from Pocaterra to Mount Shark was in good winter driving condition.
