Probably would have stayed home today - given the marginal snow conditions - but had to deliver skis to WWL for "Ski for Light" group. Too warm in PLPP so we elected to drive to Mt. Shark. Plus 2C in parking lot with intermittent snow and wind from West - stuck with SWIX Blue (V30) from last weekend. Very icy for first 500m but new snow and blowing snow quickly filled in the tracks beyond - blue wax worked well all the way to Watridge Lake. Wasn't expecting much... but glad we got out and made the best of it. It was snowing - heavy at times - as we drove home... so there is hope for better conditions soon!
Not exactly sure how to appease the snow gods? But just about willing to try anything at this point!
