CASCADE VALLEY & UPPER BANKHEAD - First Tracks on First Tracksetting

Discussion:

Thanks to ODA's comment, we chose to return to this neck of the woods, and were well rewarded.
We didn't go much beyond the tracksetting, which ends with the loop at the 6 km campsite, as there is no maintenance there yet.
We were so lucky to see the wolf on the kill, but it took off before I could get a picture... he was a big one!

Wish I'd brought my track skis!

Actually enjoyed the silky smooth snow out of the track

The wolf did not leave much

His tracks were huge

Beautiful track to Bankhead too

Only person we saw all day was enjoying the track to Bankhead
