That is such a great view.
It's so unbelievable that it is the same date on two consecutive years.
What is the iceberg of which this is the tip?
Yikes!

No way that top picture is from June last year... Whats the actual date?
Pic attached is from June 12, 2022. Hard pressed to believe the lake melted in less than a week lol

Have we been duped by the pizza loving, Naramata Brown Ale swilling Chuck?

Hey Guys,
What made you think the two photos were taken on the same date in two consecutive years?
This report was a follow up to MaSid's report comparing a Winter version to a Spring version of the Simpson Pass area.
Don't you remember my Winter version of Shadow Lake from my March 11, 2023 report?
And yes I am comparing it to June 8, 2023... just good times in the Rockies with Pizza and Naramata Nut Brown Ale!
Enjoy our summer now.

Oh brother, next thing you'll tell us is it's not the same piece of pizza!

And to answer Henry's original question... the tip of the iceberg above Shadow Lake is "Mount Ball".

Touché Chuck!
BTW, I finished "Leaning on the Wind" a while back. Thanks for the tip. I'm onto your equine sense of humour now!
