Grooming Report: West Bragg Creek

I received the following grooming report from Groomer Jeremy at West Bragg Creek, along with few photos from the weekend trail work: Iron Springs, Mountain Road and Mountain View West

Thanks for all the hard work guys!

An appreciable volume of volunteer work was performed removing a few hundred downed trees from the ski network over the last several days.

Trails open for untracked classic or skate skiing have been rolled with corduroy laid but early season ground hazards such as rocks, branches and exposed roots & earth still exist. Crystalline East/West, Loggers and Mountain road (entire) are your best bet. Ski happy!

Thanks Jeremy, and to all the hard working trail crew! Remember that Bragg Creek Trails still needs your donations. This wind event will have put an extra strain on their resources, and as far as I know-monies raised by the Kananaskis pass have not filtered down to Bragg yet.

Seriously, the government needs to get their act together. They require the Kpass for West Bragg so they need to disburse funds to West Bragg for track-setting ASAP.

Big shoutout to all the volunteers and folks that did the massive tree clearing so that all of us ski enthusiasts can get out to enjoy the West Bragg trails. Thank you!
