With at least 15 cms of new snow overnight in Banff, better to postpone shovelling the driveway, and just ski through the woods to the trailhead!
Nice light cold snow with temperature of about minus 7.
By the time we completed the loop back to the parking lot, it was full of cars.
Starting out our back door in Banff, to avoid driving in deep snow
Banff Tracksetter already out grooming Spray West
Lots of skiers got out on the Spray River trail earlier than us
Peter and his group take a break where West meets East (sorry... out of focus)
We meet Tracksetter Don laying down a track on Spray East
Lisa & Cheryl lead the way across the bridge back to Spray West
