No, not THAT back door! This afternoon I skied from my yard in NW Calgary and down the back lane, to begin a fine two hour excursion of parks and greenspaces, breaking trail and occasionally following tracks of two other skiers out enjoying the sunny crisp winter afternoon. Trailbreaking in cold snow made for slow going at times, but after setting and repeating a couple of loops the skiing improved as the track set up. So go get some-it's waiting in a neighbourhood near you!
