Discussion:

I thought it would be a shame to see the fabulous new tracksetting and great conditions in PLPP go unused. There was one other vehicle in the parking lot at Elkwood Amphitheatre where the temperature was -23 at 1:30 pm. Fortunately the sun was shining and the air was calm. On such a cold day I had to wear mitts so I wasn't taking very many photos.

I also stopped at Ribbon Creek and took a picture of the tracks and the Swix thermometer which indicated -25. Alex is grooming Skogan Pass tonight.

Wheeler had a cm of snow over yesterday's tracksetting

The snow is great for skiers but it's hard work for the sheep to find food

The road is mostly snow covered. It was rare to see any pavement showing.
