EMERALD LAKE ALLUVIAL FAN - And... a Beer Run

Report Submitted by Chuck

Discussion:

We skied the Alluvial Fan in a clockwise direction today (like everyone else) which was a good idea given the minor rain crust.
With temperatures just below freezing, Rode Multigrade worked well again.
Snowing as we left.

Starting at the canoe dock...

A little icy crossing the lake...

But then perfect tracks

Miriam & Derek know how to Get Away for a celebration

We just return home...

with a reward!

Chuck, that's my favourite beer, but it's hard to find in Calgary. Are you willing to divulge your source? Thanks!

Hi Jan,
Glad to share...
I like to get my "Naramata Nut Brown Ale" in cans, which I think is only available in B.C. You can order it in at any B.C. Liquor Store, and certain ones keep it in stock. I usually get mine in Golden.
Try this link provided below, and after selecting "Where to Buy" maybe select Golden.
Stock up and it's worthwhile!
