RedEarth .... great ski day

Discussion:

We skiied Redearth today based on previous positive posting. The trail is hard packed, with skier tracked most of the way to the turn off to Shadow lake. We found we had more grip in the loose snow next to the tracks. Temperatures dropped as we climbed up from the parking from minus 8 to minus 15 by the time we arrived at Lost Horse campground. We ate lunch there in the warm sun at noon. Then we skiied to the Shadow Lake cutoff. Coming out was lots of fun.
The down hills are fast but there is enough loose snow to control your speed. We only saw one other person on the trail. Overall a great day skiing Redearth.

Thank you to the groomer who packed the nice wide trail with no Skidoo "u" left behind!
