Discussion:

We headed down to PLPP not knowing what to expect, but a bit pessimistic after yesterday's warm weather. Parked at Elkwood, and headed north on the new tracksetting Lodgepole, Braille and Sinclair. Nicest tracks of the season!! The corduroy was just soft enough to edge nicely on the steeper corners. At the north end of Sinclair, two of our group skied down "Suicide Hill" and commented that it was the best ever. After lunch back at Elkwood, we skied older tracksetting to Boulton and back (Wheeler, Amos), and these tracks were great too, with about 1cm of fresh snow covering some of the needles. Cloudy, temperature steady around 0C, and very little wind. A few groups on the trails, but not very busy. Thanks to the tracksetter for his wizardry in creating super conditions.
