After recent poor conditions... this was the first day worth getting out again... maybe even twice in a day!
Might be worth checking out the Cascade tomorrow... See you there.

Skate skiing was actually the best way to go!

Do you know if they groomed to the Stoney Creek /warden cabin? So far the Banff Canada Park website has not been updated...

Hi Jean-Francois,
Yes, they groomed and trackset all the way to Stoney Creek yesterday. It's true that they were slow in updating the trail condition report.
Interesting that they have gone back to tracksetting on the right hand side as one ascends on single tracksetting beyond the Cascade River bridge!
Unfortunately, a skate skier has already damaged that track by allowing his skis to glide into the tracksetting!
