WooII and me. After a day skiing up to Helen Shoulder, and a minor ankle injury for my ski buddy, we opted for something less ambitious. Stared at -14 and blue, blue skies. Despite the busy parking lot at Continental Divide, we saw no one on the trails all day. The first, south-facing avi zone was almost untouched so we decided to give 'er a go. Fantastic! Three laps later, we were hot and tuckered out. Back to the van and some snacks in the sun. Temperature was around 0C.

Well done. Very refreshing to see "untouched" used in a Backcountry TR. That has become an endangered word in ski vocabulary around these parts.
