Sorry for the late post. Went out to Peter Lougheed yesterday. Parked at Boulton Bridge. Beautiful blue sky day. Some wind and the temp was -6 at 11Am. Used Vr40 which worked well all day. Went up Boulton , Fox Creek and Elk Pass on skier set tracks over old grooming. About 5 to 10 cm of fresh snow increasing to around 15 cm at the pass. On the Tyyrwhitt side of Elk Pass it was skier set tracks only, in about 15cm of snow. It wasn't till you hit the Lookout jct that you encountered fresh groomed tracks which ran all the way down Whiskeyjack. The descent down Whiskyjack was fast and fun. Great conditions out there- no ice or debris. Hardly any people out. It was -1c on the return to the parking lot.
