Pipestone - desperately needs a refresh

Pipestone is one of my favorite loops when the conditions are right. Today was not one of those days...
Last grooming was March 4 according to PC website - I was hoping for a surprise. No sign of grooming or significant new snow in the past week.
-12C at the start at 9:30 a.m. (first car in the lot) with mostly sunny ski and very little wind - it felt warmer. Nice views at Mud Lake and in the meadows.
The first 5km (CCW) were not really good, lots of debris and the hills were hard packed which made the herringbone challenging. Conditions improved after the 5km mark with softer snow.
Little to no debris and still decent tracks on the way back. The downhills were controllable but not for beginners in those conditions. Tracks along the lake were not visible anymore (snow blown in).
The clouds and the wind came in towards the end of my trip ~11:30 a.m.
Still a good day out but not the Pipestone I love. Groomers - where are you?...
