I skied a perimeter tour today (minus East Mountain View) plus out and backs on the Elbow trail to the Elbow River escarpment and Dead End. Conditions on the recent grooming were really good with only a few thin spots in the usual places on Iron Springs. Bragg Creek Trails had groomed Elbow trail beyond the loops. Walkers have made a bit of mess but that trail is still skiable. It was -10 to start and +7 to finish. Fortunately it was mainly cloudy in the afternoon so there was surprisingly little melting. Tomorrow (at least in the morning) should still have really good conditions.
