Informed report Gord. And good to have met at the pass last week —your recommendation lures! Btw, after our parting I zipped up lookout which was well covered albeit a bit spicy on the return dh!

Discussion:

Plenty of powder up on the Burstall Pass trail; 30 cm at the trailhead and close to 60cm up near the Pass. We managed to ski all the way up and back without hitting any rock which is rare for this time of year. High winds today so the collection zones were getting deep. The first 4 km are easily done with wax but skins are necessary when climbing to the upper meadows and the pass.
