Congratulations Bob.

She's a cutie and a sure keeper.

Following up on SteveR’s message, I was (yesterday) able to chat with James, the Team Lead for Kananaskis. The guys at PLPP were having some problems getting their data into Nordic Pulse but as you can see that seems to be resolved now.

Recent snow pack measurements showed 50-70 cm at Blueberry & Lookout.

James also gave a heads-up that they should be out grooming Mount Shark some time this week.

Yes, SteveR, that's our Suzie. We couldn't have found a more beautiful dog.

Thanks for the heads-up about PLPP.

Nice looking dog, Bob! Yours?
Just checked and Nordic Pulse is showing Elk Pass and environs is largely trackset!

Suzie the springer spaniel is finally old enough to go skiing. The Bill Milne trail north of the golf course was the perfect choice for her first ski trip. A nice flat trail with few people was the order of the day.

The snow coverage is adequate between the golf course and Ribbon Creek if you don't mind your poles hitting pavement occasionally. The trail was rolled yesterday along with Wedge Connector and Evan-Thomas.

The temperature was -9 in mid-afternoon and the sun was shining brightly on all the surrounding snow-capped peaks. This trail offers some of the best scenery in the SkierRoger empire.

There's lots of parking available at the golf course.

At Ribbon Creek I skied a short distance up Terrace trail to check on conditions. The first 200 metres with the three roller coaster hills has many exposed, embedded rocks. Coverage gets better as you gain elevation. Some tracksetting occurred on the Kananaskis Village trails today. Check Nordic Pulse for details.
