Mr. Real Democracy and his cheap econo box car recommending lower cost gas at......
The Tsuut'ina Gas Stop is the next cheapest place to fill up a car with gas after Costco. I find the folks there very friendly, but there are big line ups there to pump gas until about 10pm often.
As of today gas is 115.9 per litre at Tsuut'ina Gas Stop see:
For much of November the gas was 17 cents per litre cheaper than other gas stations in Calgary excluding Costco. This is still pricier than the last couple of years at this time and it now costs me $20 to $23 in gas to drive to Banff skiing and back depending on the wind, snow on the road and my speed. I wish I had an electric car to bring down the cost. One electric car owner told me it costs him about $8 in his big tank Tesla to drive to Banff and back. Only if they made an econo box Tesla that one would get better energy efficiency per kilometer. Unfortunately the auto manufactures don't think about energy travel efficiency to save people mo money.
I have noticed the people in Canmore have been getting ripped off by the oil companies and have been paying 157.9 per litre lately but about 159.9 in November. I was paying 40 cents per litre less at Tsuut'na Gas Stop at that time.
I thank Tsuut'na Gas Stop and Costco for allowing me to ski cheaper when the big oil companies are gouging the people.
