Thanks for the report and the pics of your pooch. She's adorable. So glad to see the snow on the trees to. I'm heading there this weekend.
Bow River Loop

Discussion:
Although we were late on the trail, our timing was perfect to run into MaSid on the Bow River Loop at Lake Louise.
The tracksetting is six days old but is still in pretty good shape with a few cm of fresh snow, and it's clean on the south loop. Blue wax temperatures.
We took a leisurely drive on the Bow Valley Parkway and checked the trailheads at Castle Junction and Castle Lookout. There appears to be plenty of snow but only snowmobile packing so far. The Castle Junction to Castle Lookout section had decent skier tracks.
 This talented skier spent part of his day constructing furniture along the Fairview trail.
 Starting the Bow River Loop at the campground bridge. There's a small parking area at the bridge. The Bow River Loop and the Campground Loop are dog-friendly.
