Chuck, very interesting reading that the Lodge is offering lunch to XC skiers on a booked basis. I spoke with them this past Monday, Feb 6th and they said a definite NO to offering lunch? Was Le Relais actually open today? Thanks for the great photos. Planning a ski there next Saturday.

Discussion:
The Snow Cat is up and running (but not track setting yet).
The Lodge plans to open on February 15, and Lunch will be available on weekends for those who book ahead.
There is an ice patch to avoid at the 5.5 km mark, and don't forget the avalanche path at the 6.5 km mark.
Metal edged ski make the descent more fun... Enjoy!
 Don't forget to start here. Some started heading east on the Great Divide and had to be rescued!
 Only snowmobile packed so far, but in good condition
 This couple had a great time at the E.P. Hut and remember me from an earlier encounter on the MLR
 Renovations underway in the Lodge
 Le Relais Shelter is a great spot for lunch
