Just to be clear... all of Iron Creek is a multi-user trail, South Elbow is a multi-user trail from Fullerton Parking Lot to the Iron Springs junction and all of Telephone Loop is a multi-user trail.

WBC Telephone was freshly groomed

Discussion:

I skied 2 loops today. This morning and early afternoon I started up West Crystal (lower), Moose Connector and then Telephone (CW). Conditions were pretty decent, particularly in my direction. I met 12 skiers, a couple of walkers and 3 fat bikers going the normal (CCW) way. The downhills were getting pretty scraped by the time I was finishing up on the east side. Coverage is pretty good, mostly. Tomorrow, CW may still be viable. I would not recommend CCW.

Loop 2: In the afternoon I also took advantage of overnight grooming. I skied West Crystal (middle) / Loggers / Elbow-Iron Springs figure 8 / Iron Creek to the end and back. The north loop of Elbow-Iron Springs is in great shape. Iron Creek and the south loop of Elbow-Iron Springs are decent but walkers were making a fair bit of a mess. Elbow south of the loops (towards Fullerton parking) had lots of walker damage even though it had just been groomed. I decided not to ski there. Hopefully at some point the enforcement of skier only trail use (now being done at PLPP) moves out east. Loggers and East Crystal were groomed yesterday and are still good to go.
