I also skied the Coal Mine trail this morning, and found it in superb shape with recent grooming. The only thing missing was a few cm of fresh powder for the descent :-)

Parked at the Village and skied counter-clockwise on Terrace Link-Kovach-Terrace North. Busier than usual, so everyone must be checking SkierRoger for the track setting reports! The downhills were a lot of fun, easily controlled. So much fun that I headed across Terrace and down to the Ribbon Creek parking lot, then up Coal Mine and onto the Ribbon Creek Trail. The steep switchbacks were in good shape, although the bottom two are shallow and it won't be long before they are scraped down. Across Aspen and down Kovach back to the Village parking lot. Snowing lightly when I left about 2:00 p.m. There is a "snow duck" guarding the junction of Aspen and Aspen to Kovach ...
