You do know that almost all of the single-track trails out of the Fullerton Trailhead (Highway 66) are still covered with hundreds of downed trees. I'd cut the hikers, bikers and other users a bit of slack until those trails get cleared.

Bluegrass? Aqua, have you been associating with telemarkers again?

Trampled by Hikers? Isn't that one of those alt-bluegrass bands?

Discussion:

Mid-day, we skied the Iron Springs-Elbow loop and the core trails. Conditions were very good throughout with a recent refresh of yesterday's grooming on East Crystal, groomed only with shallow skier tracks on the north parts of Iron and Elbow. The south loop WAS ungroomed with skier and hiker tracks until the Parks groomer went by as we took a break at the sunny south corner, leaving a soft packed surface after several passes. Elbow towards Fullerton was packed as well- ready for hiker trampling! Temps ranged from -14 to -7, making for easy waxing and reasonably fast snow.

Groomed with skier trackset on Iron Springs north.

Skier tracks and hiker trampling on Iron Springs south.

There goes the groomer, on another pass of Elbow south.

Elbow South- freshly groomed and ready for the hiker hordes!
