Merci Roger, nice to see Nordic Pulse is being considered by Park Canada, we just have to wait and see now.

As a side note, thanks for all the work updating this very useful website. Hope you have a Skier Roger hat so that I can recognize you if we ever meet on a trail!

To Jean-francois, regarding your Nordic Pulse question:

Today, I received a reply from Jed Cochrane of Parks Canada, Lake Louise, Yoho, Kootenay Field Unit. Jed explained that they are aware of the Nordic Pulse system and believe it presents a great opportunity to improve the Nordic skier's experience.

They are committed to having their teams look into the feasibility of using the system. A timeline for making a decision was not provided.

To Jean-francois Regarding your Nordic Pulse question:

I received a reply from the Lake Louise Fairmont group on this. As of recently they are taking a strong look at implementing the Nordic Pulse system. Probably fair to say that it's still in the evaluation phase, so no promises.

No response yet from the other organizations.
I'll let you know as I hear something more.

I think it's an excellent question Jean-francois. I too am sold on Nordic Pulse.

Allow me make some inquiries and we'll see what they say...

Thanks for the update Roger. Do you (or anyone else) know the reason for Chateau Lake Louise / Park canada for not using Nordic Pulse? I really like Nordic Pulse with real time information and now that Alberta Parks have added the icon on Nordic Pulse to redirect the skier to more detailed trail informations on their website, it's just perfect.
I can hardly believe it would be a cost issue (hardware / software) to use Nordic Pulse. I was wondering if they even know that this tool exists and/or are a bit « stuck » in the way they do things….
Anyway, not a big deal, but thought it was worth knowing :)
