Emerald Lake & Kicking Horse

Discussion:

It was +1 and raining lightly when we arrived at the Emerald Lake lot. However the rain soon stopped and the sky cleared somewhat as we skied along the horse trail and clockwise around the Alluvial Fan. Most of the trail was groomed with shallow and wobbly skier tracks. However the tracksetter passed us just as we got back to the lake so the trails should be great now. We also went a way down the Kicking Horse trail but the scenery didn't compare to the trip by the lake and fan so we didn't go far. Again, our waxless skis worked really well with the just above zero conditions.
