Thanks Jean-Francois,
Pocaterra deteriorated as more skiers used it and exposed the needles. Very little (<2cm) new snow on the Packers to Lynx section we skied.
Downhills are very fast and some Green downhills will be a challenge for beginner skiers.

Discussion:

Skied the Cookie Race Course (Pocaterra / Come Along / Lynx / Woolley / Meadow / Wheeler / Whiskey Jack / Tyrwhitt / Elk Pass / Fox / Moraine / Packers / Pocaterra)

It was -10C at 9:00am at the Pocaterra hut, the northern trails were covered with less than 1 cm of new snow and no debris. The new snow cover gets better when reaching Whiskey Jack and Tyrwhitt with approximately 5cm over the recent grooming.

With the exception of Fox Creek all the trails were in good to excellent conditions. Fox Creek is skiable but very thin and icy (the 1st quarter of the trail coming from Elk Pass)

Swix V40 Blue extra and later V45 Purple were the wax of the day.

I only saw a handful of people nearing Elk Pass.

Highway 1 and Highway 40 were in very conditions when I drove back to Calgary,

Tyrwhitt
