Hello Chuck,
Latin and/or Greek was part of grade 6 to grade 9 curriculum in the 60's in France.

The trail names are constellations and are in Latin not Greek :)

Fantastic conditions - grooming just ace. No grip so had to mix classic with skate. But who cares when it is so nice. Hot. Have to first say when I read Helen's report I had no idea where Ursa Major was ?? But the found that Nordique have done a fantastic job with maps and labelling trails - a major THANK_YOU. And who was the guy who came up with all the Greek names?? So loved seeing Doug and group - he cannot be missed so much fun, then Dana and Paul who always go exploring off trail and get great pictures. Such a good day and so loved seeing Rudi Setz range getting used by a contingent of biathletes who are going to join the Gow guys in future and rock.
