Bragg Creek is stoked to be chosen as the hosting site for the 2022 Turf Grass XC Ski World Cup! This exciting sport has been gaining mainstream popularity through the pandemic due to the natural social distancing that occurs when athletes take it up and tell their friends.
Come cheer on your favourite TGXC athletes while the conquer one of our longest tracks in the area. Telephone Loop, often dubbed ‘divorce loop', is a gruelling 12.5 km track will test athletes endurance as they try to break the TGXC record set of 7 hours and 57 minutes.
The event will also include an open class entry for any and all individuals who would like to prove their worth around the track, which will be groomed to fairway perfection with the help of staff from Wintergreen Golf Club.
There will also be demo booths setup from top TGXC brands like Saruman, Tail, and Flyfisher.
