Richard and I parked at Elkwood, figuring the cold temps over the last few days would sustain the recent grooming. Score! We skied Wheeler, WhiskeyJack, Pocaterra, Lynx and Amos. They were the best conditions I've seen in a month. My skins worked perfectly and Richard's fish scales were a bit less grippy on the slicker parts. The descents were fast but very manageable. It was -5C when we finished around 1:30, so it will still be excellent tomorrow. Just a fantastic ski.
