Skogan Pass - thin on the bottom, excellent up top

Discussion:

The first grooming of the season has laid down a nice base with generally good coverage. There were a few rocks poking through in some inopportune places on the bottom half (up to about the turn to High Level (middle of hills and leading into corners). Up to that junction, it is just groomed. The upper section, above the High Level junction, is nicely trackset.

We got to see an owl on a fresh rabbit kill (he flew away as we got close, but was back on the kill when we headed down).
