Another good choice in the Lake Louise area.
I can understand that Parks is slow to trackset this area due to heaving cracks in the underlying pavement, but I think it is adequately covered and packed now. Contrary to the Parks Trail Report, there are absolutely no sections of pavement showing through the snow.
I used my track skis today with green kick wax, and I got good glide as the day warmed up, especially on the return with a west wind at my back.
The highway is in excellent driving condition, so enjoy!
