Goat Creek on SNOWSHOES

Hubby and I had hoped to drive to Lk Louise today but instead chose 22 kms option to Goat Creek trailhead. One walker + dog ahead of us. 10 am and -2, snow was in abundance (forgot my ruler)and was thinking of Chuck likely skiing from his back door in Banff to West Spray. Was also hoping to meet the Spray/Goat Groomer but no luck. He missed a few cookies. Got to 4.3 kms and turned around, only to find Clifton on skis coming towards us. I knew I would find someone I knew up there. Winter Wonderland but turned into perfect snowman-making snow on our return and evidence of slushy snow at bottom. Great webcams on your site Roger-I keep a close eye now on Castle Junction.
